The November session will examine USC’s potential move to pursue accreditation through the Florida-based Commission for Public Higher Education and discuss how we, as a community, can work together to safeguard independent accreditation standards in South Carolina and beyond.

Your AAUP-SC is proud to welcome Prof. Carol Harrison as a guest speaker.Ā Carol Harrison is president of the South Carolina State Conference of the AAUP and a former president of the chapter at USC Columbia, where she is professor of History.

Your AAUP-SC invites all faculty, graduate students, and friends to join us for our inaugural Power Lunch virtual speaker series. Power Lunches are open to workers across South Carolina’s colleges and universities and are designed to build solidarity, share critical information, and foster discussion on the challenges facing higher education.
