Plan to attend AAUP-SC’s spring meeting on April 18 at Francis Marion University. We’ll be at the Carter Center for Health Sciences in Florence, SC 29501 starting at 10 am. Many thanks to the FMU chapter, which has arranged breakfast (starting at 9:30) and lunch for us. Hit the blue button below to register that we can have a headcount for catering by April 15.
Our guest for the meeting is Brian Allen, the AAUP organizer who has been working with chapters across the southeast. He will be conducting organizing and advocacy training after our business meeting in the afternoon: this is where we learn to build our chapters and communicate with our administrations and our political representatives, and it’s a great opportunity to meet Brian and each other face to face.
