The American Association of University Professors of South Carolina (AAUPāSC) invites higher ed workers across South Carolina to come together in solidarity, share critical information, and build strength in numbers.
Our Spring 2026 Power Lunch Series will continue with a discussion of the role of AI in higher education, with a particular focus on looking behind the technological curtain. How does AI actually work? Where does it come from? And how is it being shaped and deployed by the multinational corporations and governments that increasingly structure our daily lives? In the light of these advances, join us to explore how collective action can safeguard academic freedom, improve working conditions, and enhance our studentsā learning environments.
We are proud to welcome our guest speaker, Dwayne Monroe.
