AAUP National Votes to Sanction Spartanburg Community College

In an announcement on Monday, February 26, 2024, the national AAUP voted to sanction Spartanburg Community College in South Carolina and the New College of Florida.

AAUP's Governing Council voted unanimously to sanction Spartanburg Community College for "substantial noncompliance with widely accepted standards of academic government." This sanction comes after a full report on Spartanburg Community College from AAUP's Investigative Committee. A copy of the report can be found here: .
