AAUP and AAC&U Joint Statement on Liberal Arts Published May 31, 2018

The AAUP and Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) has issued a joint statement on the importance of the liberal arts to higher education on Thursday, May 31, 2018. The statement comments on the benefits of a liberal arts education and its importance to discussions about justice, community, politics, culture, and difference which are, according to the statement, a critical part of a college student's educational experience.
