Fall 2014 Assembly Meeting Held at Coastal Carolina University

The South Carolina Conference of the AAUP conducted the Fall 2014 Assembly on Saturday, November 1st, at Coastal Carolina University. The venue was the Wall College of Business Administration. Members and other interested parties braved unusually cold and stormy weather to gather from across the state and also North Carolina and Georgia to hear progress reports. Of special interest was news of a forthcoming meeting of presidents of AAUP conferences across the southeast region. Following an ample and delicious lunch, the assembly conducted business, including amending the Conference By-Laws. At the conclusion of the meeting, President Jim Henderson offered his resignation after faithful and effective service. Vice-President Brandon Inabinet became president at that time.
